A Little Bit About Us
The Riverside Restaurant has been family owned & run by Jo & Leigh Mitchell since March 2012. Having previously spent over the past 12 years in the Highland Hospitality trade working in local hotels around the Inverness area & beyond. We decided that we wanted to create a restaurant that reflects our passion for excellent Scottish Fayre.
Surround by spectacular Highland scenery Inverness has some of the best Estates, fishing ports & of course the famous malt whisky trail making it an ideal location to offer some of the finest Fayre it produces. (Weather depending of course).
We can source some of the freshest fish from the North in Shetland and Aberdeen-shire coast line and can be with us within a day or so. Our local suppliers are able to offer us North Sea Salmon, Cod & Haddock. Shetland Blue lipped mussels & East Coast Halibut. Further North we are supplied ith Ardgay Estate Venison & award winning beef from Murnos of Dingwall Butcher.
All our desserts are created in house by Leigh & his team. We also have a nice selection of local and regional whiskies, beer & gin.
So if you are meeting a friend for a light lunch or a romantic setting we are sure to offer a dining experience with great food & wine. If you have any dietary requirements please let us know & we will do our best to meet you requests.
