See what others have left in the past:

Hi Jo, Just wanted to say a huge thank you for last night! Everyone really enjoyed themselves, everything went smoothly and the waiters/waitresses were great J. Hope we weren’t too noisy and messy for clearing up afterwards! Kirsty @ Saffery Champness

I just wanted to say a big thankyou for making our staff Christmas meal very special last Thursday.  We really enjoyed having the place to ourselves (hope that worked for you all too, no doubt you’ll be run off your feet this week!).  The staff were very attentive and helpful with various dietary requirements, as well as being relaxed and not rushing us.

Would like to thank you and all the members of staff at The Riverside for a fantastic Christmas party on Friday. Everyone seemed to have a great time and the food was wonderful.

Thank you from everyone at Saffery Champness.

Leigh, Jo & the entire Riverside Restaurant family/team:

On a Trafalgar tour of Scotland with some 50 people (UGH!, but necessary as we age…), our 1 night stay in Inverness was unfortunately too short. Rather than dine “in-tour” on 28 Aug, we decided to taxi into town from the Inverness Hotel and search for something special. As we wandered along both sides of the Ness, we did indeed discover a marvelous gem that helped make our vacation very special. Our thanks to all in & out of the kitchen for a simply delicious meal served graciously. Should we ever be fortunate enough to return to Scotland, we would definitely consider stopping again in Inverness & dining at the Riverside.
Sincerely,
Robert & Joyce Berntsen

“Lovely evening! Booked here for a get together (ladies night out) before Christmas.  We choose the Evening Menu.  Everything was cooked to perfection! Everything is homemade and their desserts (try the sticky toffee pudding) were amazing! We were really looked after from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended! Thanks River Café!” – M.Matheson, Inverness

“Christmas Night Out. Choose the River Café for our Christmas night out and we were delighted.  Warm welcome, our Christmas dinner was really nice and they had put on a small quiz at the table which gave us some great entertainment….plus there were prizes given out. A lovely extra for us to celebrate our office party. We stayed until late and then went out into town after.  Look forward to re booking for Christmas 2013.” – Company night out Inverness

“Great Value Early Evening Menu! Went for their early evening menu. Just wanted something before my long drive home. 3 courses (exceptional food and good value) for £12.95. Few places around town I have always had to pay extra for dessert!Friendly service, peaceful surroundings. Will defiantly return.” – Mr Gray, Glasgow

“It’s a year now since we first discovered the River Cafe & Restaurant and what a find!We were astounded at the quality of food for the price – £7.95 for 2 courses at lunchtime – and we never have any trouble choosing something tasty from the varied menu. The quality food is always beautifully presented on the plate but that doesn’t stop us eating every last delicious scrap!  Our plates going back to the kitchen are ALWAYS clean and that speaks volumes! We look forward to our lunches looking out over the river and we are always warmly welcomed. It’s really nice to experience such personal attentive service and we always leave feeling that we have just had another real treat.”

“Just gets better and better. Every time I come to this restaurant I just find the food and choice gets better and better. Not forgetting the spruce up on the decor that has been done. Great service, staff and food. If you can make it to dessert after a wonderful meal from their evening menu….try their homemade lemon sorbet!!! 10/10!!” – Mrs Simpson, Scotland

“Value for Money . We went here for High Tea before the going to the Panto in Inverness good quality and value for money at £10.00 per person. Good choice on the main courses – the chef’s lasagne with cheese sauce was the best I had tasted! Selection of cakes was really good with warm scones!” – L.Garrow, Conon Bridge

“Hidden Gem. Thank you to Anna & Jo for the great service and to Leigh in the kitchen for the amazing meal, that my husband and I had on our anniversary night. Arriving on the train into Inverness, we got to our hotel and decided to have a walk down the river.  Looking at their menu we decided to book in for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. It really is a hidden gem at the end of the River.  Personal touches by the owners made us feel really looked after and not rushed out the door. Perfect to celebrate a special occasion.” – Mr & Mrs Rice, Aberdeen
